With a love of art and an appreciation that we should be using products for sensitive skin, I worked with designers and artists to create illustrations that captured the fluidity of the ocean and plant life of the South Pacific to represent the source of Vatéa. Vatéa, being a Polynesian word meaning ‘Father of Gods.’ The design element ensures kindness to all members of the family so that they can use the same skin, hair and baby care without the use of medicinal or supermarket products that claim to be for dry skin conditions although might aggravate dry skin conditions.

It is with this experience, along with curiosity and creativity, that Vatea has been developed. I am immensely proud and excited to have developed products that are beautifully presented, scientifically considered and considerate of our environment.
